Lily looked around the studio, stunned. The atmosphere was tense. They really replaced her?
"You replaced me?" Her voice was brimming with hatred and betrayal as she spoke. "So you are going to violate our agreement?"
The Director met her gaze, his eyes filled with determination. It was very obvious that he was determined to put and end to Lily's avtions.
Paula stood calmly, in complete contrast to Lily's frenzied manner, as the director spoke in a clipped and firm tone, "You violated it first, Lily."
Paula was a relative newbie(To them), despite the fact that she had come highly recommended by a deeply respected colleague of the Director. Paula's strength and talent had won over the Director, who had been skeptical at first.
"You can rest first, Paula," the Director said, his voice gentle and admiring, as if Lily was not even there. "We will resume in 25 minutes. The last part is simple."
