Paula was holding Winter's hand, walking side by side with Yolanda and Barbie as they all took in the festive air of Jali. Paula had been here before when she was a kid, but she couldn't remember how Jali looked back then because she had visited with her mother.
They had all decided to eat at a nearby food stall. As they walked, Paula noticed something off about Barbie. Barbie, who had been really excited about the trip, suddenly seemed bored after arriving.
Paula couldn't figure out why.
As they approached the food stall, Barbie's eyes fell on Dylan, who was chatting with his friends right in front of the stall they were heading to. Her body immediately recoiled in fear as she thought of a way to divert Paula and the rest to another food stall.
Luckily, Winter saw something he was interested in. "Mom, let's eat there!"
Yolanda and Paula glanced at the store. "I think this place is better," Yolanda said, and they all headed into the stall.
