Gong Heng looked at Yun Chunxue with a flat expression, his handsome face showing no emotion, and whispered to Mu Mian, "If she wants to leave, let her leave."
Mu Mian genuinely saw the disappointment and hurt on Yun Chunxue's face and felt pleased.
Yet she pretended not to see it, affectionately looping her arm through Gong Heng's, "Brother, how can you be like this? Sister Chunxue hasn't eaten yet! Stay, let's eat together! No matter what I say, she won't agree, Brother, please persuade Sister Chunxue. If Sister Chunxue doesn't stay, I won't eat either!"
With that, Mu Mian began to act petulant, turning her back to Gong Heng in a show of anger.
Gong Heng had no choice but to say to Yun Chunxue, "Chunxue, Mianmian wants you to stay, so just stay!"
Chunxue couldn't quite describe the taste in her heart.
Everyone knew what Gong Heng had been like these three years; they didn't need her to say it.
