"She's like that!" Gong Heng said to Yun Chunxue with a smile, "Fickle enthusiasm, one moment she likes this, the next she likes that. I'm just hoping she can graduate smoothly; I don't dare to expect too much else."
Gong Heng now resembled a father worried about his daughter.
"That's true," Yun Chunxue's face was full of smiles, "Mianmian has you, a good brother. Even if she does nothing, it won't matter." Then she winked at Mu Mian, "Mianmian, you're so fortunate."
Mu Mian kept her head down and silent, but she glanced at Gong Heng sitting opposite Yun Chunxue who had maintained a gentle smile throughout.
But now, she had no idea what his smile meant, what it contained.
After chatting for a while longer, Yun Chunxue seemed a bit tired, and Gong Heng stood up in a gentlemanly fashion, "I'll take you downstairs."
Yun Chunxue's face showed a young lady's demure bashfulness, her cheeks flushing in waves as she nodded slightly.
"Okay, thank you, Aheng."
