Yang Xiaoxi was quite surprised. Although Ruan Feng was always polite to her and Shen Mianmian, they didn't usually have much to do with each other.
Ruan Feng was a rather conservative thinker. He felt that as an adult male, it wouldn't be appropriate for him to enter a young lady's room. Thus, once he reached the doorstep, he didn't proceed any further inside.
He smiled and said, "We might become neighbors soon. Since we know each other, I wanted to come over and say hello, so we can look out for each other in the future."
After saying this, he handed the things he was carrying to Shen Mianmian, "This is a little something from me."
Shen Mianmian hesitated, but considering he had made the special trip over, it would seem rude to refuse. Besides, the items were just ingredients and nothing overly expensive, so she reluctantly accepted them.
