"Teacher, does that mean Shen Mianmian is going to be expelled?"
Zhao Xinlan really couldn't wait any longer and, in her excitement, blurted out the question like she was racing to answer first. The joy on her face was not at all concealed.
Chen Jie's brow furrowed upon seeing Zhao Xinlan's schadenfreude, and his tone contained a hint of displeasure, "Why do you think the student being expelled is Shen Mianmian?"
All were his students, and he hoped they would respect and love each other. He disliked when groups formed cliques to target and isolate someone.
Especially after learning about Zhao Xinlan and the other two going to the office and what they had said, he believed these three students were lying. The principal didn't pursue the matter further because he was afraid of making a big deal out of it, with the New Year approaching and no one wanting to stir up trouble.
But this didn't mean that they, the adults, could be fooled by a few students.
