The next day, during lunchtime, Shen Mianmian met with Du Teng along with Yang Xiaoxi. The man appeared to be in his thirties, tall and thin, wearing a pair of black-framed glasses for nearsightedness. When he saw Shen Mianmian and Yang Xiaoxi coming towards him, he walked over to them immediately. Seeming somewhat surprised, he still politely asked, "Hello, may I know if you are Shen Mianmian?"
"Hello, I am," Shen Mianmian replied with a smile. "You must be Mr. Du, right?"
"Yes." Du Teng sighed with relief. Although the two young ladies looked young, at least they had not stood him up. From their attire, both seemed to be from wealthy families, so maybe they truly could afford the house.
"It's not very convenient to talk here. Have you not eaten yet? Let's go to the nearby restaurant, have a meal, and chat," Shen Mianmian suggested.
There were no tea houses or coffee shops nearby, so she could only invite him to have a meal.
