Two days had passed since Scarlett decided to play the role of a good and subordinate Luna to Bryton. She had managed to avoid being intimate using sickness as an excuse. Surprisingly, Hannah's suggestion to communicate had been surprisingly effective, and their interactions had become less strained.
Scarlett knew that this charade couldn't last forever. She needed to find a way to gather information about Axel's pack and check on him. The thought of Hannah sneaking into enemy territory made her hesitant, but she knew it was necessary.
Late one night, Scarlett summoned Hannah to her chambers, away from prying eyes and ears. "Hannah, I have a plan, but it's risky," Scarlett began, her voice low and serious. "I need you to go to Axel's pack and find out how he's doing. I'm worried about him, and I need to know if he's coping okay."
