"How dare you!!!" I thundered angrily at Ray! I can't believe he laid his filthy hands on Scarlett , how dare he?
He just came out of the blue like a mad dog who got released from his scene.
The scene of how he grabbed Scarlett by her neck and slapped her replayed on my head and I got more annoyed.
I charged towards him but Scarlett suddenly blocked my way and fell on her knees.
"Please, have mercy, he acted out of ignorance and anger. Any father would do the same if they lost their daughter, this is all my fault."
I balled my fist as I watched her plead, staring at her only made me boil. Why doesn't she always listen to me anytime I give her instructions?!
"Lucas! Take her away from my sight immediately!" I ordered and Lucas did as he was told immediately.
She didn't struggle at all because she knew I was really mad at her.
