"You won't gain anything from kidnapping me. The empire won't care about me, nor will the council," Tala shouted at Mika, who opened the door for Mr. Looney to enter with his intimidating presence.
'The only person who cares about me is Athyer, and he's disappeared without a trace,' she thought as she watched Looney sit in the chair opposite her, looking at her with regret.
"Who said we're trying to get the empire's attention? There's someone more important than the council," Mika said as he left the room after Looney asked him to, his steps were slowly, and those sharp gaze of him, made Tala uncomfortable.
"We're after Niard, we want to create a present without discrimination between the idealists and otherwise, a world without those unjust laws," Looney said calmly and then cut a piece of Tala's hair, Tala spat in his face, she realy disgust his presence, she could not believe such a betrayal from him.
