Chapter 11 - A KENT.

Magnus stood by the balcony, staring at Eisley wrapped in Irwin's arms, sleeping soundly. He had never seen her fall asleep after making love.

His eyes flickered in the dark with a dark and angry look. His fisted hands by his sides became painful as his fingernails dug into his palms, darkness blocking his features.

Irwin was a light sleeper. If he moved, he would be caught instantly, so he remained there, unable to sleep while he watched them. Irwin had always been the man who never slept on the same bed with the woman he slept with, but Eisley was cuddled up in his arms.

Suddenly, the sheets made noises, and Irwin got up, Magnus hid, praying to his God, that he wasn't coming out for a smoke, the bathroom door opened and closed.

Magnus peeped through the door, Irwin had entered the bathroom, and he quickly and quietly opened the door and closed it about to leave when Eisley moved and the blanket that Irwin used to cover her body fell off halfway, exposing some part of her naked body but she was still asleep.

He continued until he successfully left the room, and his raging heart raged even more.

The following morning, Eisley opened her eyes to an empty bed, and the doors of the balcony were half closed, and a cold breeze blew in, causing her to shiver. Eisley immediately grabbed her robe, sitting up and putting it on. She found herself a spaghetti strip night dress and put it on.

She yawned when she got out of bed. As soon as she walked out of the room, everywhere felt so empty. She scanned the living, kitchen, garden, and backyard, including Irwin's room.

She stood at Irwin's study and pushed it open. There he was, her feet shuffled backwards. Again, he was in a meeting.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was looking for—" her voice cracked. "You," She said, her eyes wandered around the room, and she cleared her throat, feeling a bit awkward under the scrutiny of the men present in the room.

"Since you're awake, get ready, Robert will take you to the hospital, I arranged a doctor for you,"

"Huh? Why?" Eisley asked, puzzled.

"Because we had sex," he said bluntly. Eisley almost choked, looking at all his men who sat with no emotions. They barely cared, except for Magnus. "Magnus, why don't you escort her?"

"Sir?"

"That's not needed, I can have Grace. She can escort me. It's fine," Eisley said and moved back quickly until she was out of the room.

She barely survived Magnus's attack. After last night, he would kill her on the way.

"That would be all, and oh the men Charles sent, have they said anything so far?"

"No, Sir, they don't seem to know who ordered them to shoot yet,"

"One of them is dead, yet they won't speak. What's the use," Irwin said, reclining on his chair and crossing his legs on the table. He took out a cigarette about to smoke, the thought of Eisley being ruined by him flashed through his mind, and he exhaled deeply, staring at the ceiling. Seeing her in that skimpy nightgown made him remember the feel of her body against his, and the thought made his manhood stir. "Shi," He muttered, quickly thinking of other things so that his shaft would not rise.

"Mr Kent?"

"You do what you can do. Has anyone been able to track Charles? And what is Tess doing here?" He yelled.

Magnus lowered his gaze. "I looked into it. There isn't any news of how this location got leaked,"

"And yet she's in my land? Robert, send out the news, I want it on the headline that I'm getting married, and tell Henry, I need him as quick as possible,"

"Yes, Sir. Oh, you have an important place to be, Mr Johnson still hasn't paid yet,"

Irwin dropped his cigarette on a plate. "Magnus, you're in charge of that. Make sure he pays,"

"Yes, Sir,"

"That's all. You can all leave, Magnus stay behind." Irwin took out a dagger, and the sight of it caused Magnus to shake.

As soon as they all left, including Robert, Irwin dropped the dagger on his table.

"Eisley and I are getting married on Sunday," he said, his eyes on the dagger.

"Congratulations on your wedding, sir," Magnus said, with no sincerity.

Irwin laughed and turned to him, "I get you, I get why you wouldn't leave her,"

"Sir?"

"Eisley, she's definitely a dessert. However, this would be the last time I would warn you to stay away from a Kent," Irwin's eyes lit, "A Kent, that is what she is now, and if I learn you touched her again, I'll burn you alive. Is that clear?"

"Why?" Magnus fumed, staring at Irwin in the eyes. "You could have anyone you wanted, including Mrs Richardson. Why did it have to be her?"

"Is that why you invited Tess? Because you thought it would change my mind? This would be your last warning. Eisley doesn't know how you made her yours. She would kill you once she finds out,"

Irwin got up, about to leave when he paused. "Besides, someone who loves you dearly wouldn't put on such a show for you to watch, like last night. You watched her scream another man's name, that's for double-crossing me, the next one would be your life,"

Eisley crossed her arms, waiting by Magnus's door. As soon as she saw him, he did. His countenance changed, and anger flashed through those bloodshot eyes.

"You looked pissed. Did you like my present?" Eisley asked with a smirk.

"Get out," He growled.

"Relax, I just wanted to know if you got my gift, it was very satisfying unlike you," her eyes fell to his manhood.

"I'll kill you, Eisley," Magnus said. "Like I said, if I can't have you, no one can,"

"You're all talk, you can't even double cross Irwin, find someone stronger, maybe, be it yourself, and even if you did, you can never have me again, I'm going to make you pay, this is just the beginning," Eisley said, giggling, and her giggles turned to laugh, she walked past Magnus, leaving him completely angry.

As she walked into the living room, Eisley sighed, her hands had been restless the whole time. She took a deep breath, about to continue when she heard a commotion, and the doors opened, a woman walked in like she owned the place.

This time, it wasn't Tess. It was an older woman.

"Mrs Kent, you can't— Irwin doesn't want," Robert stopped. Eisley stared confused at the woman.

"There she is, the little serpent," the woman said, walking closer to Eisley.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Eisley asked, but a slap landed on her cheek instead.

"Where are your manners, you brat? What have you done to my son? Marriage?"
