Irwin leaned against the chair, his arms crossed casually. "So, she's planning to sell the house already?" he inquired, his tone a mix of surprise and mild amusement.
Morgan, standing with a slight bow, nodded respectfully. "Yes, Sir. Mrs. Kent instructed me to keep it a secret."
Irwin's gaze shifted to Morgan. "Then keep it a secret. It doesn't matter if you work for me. If she asks you to do such, don't you think you should?"
Morgan's face burned with embarrassment. "I apologize, Sir. I'll exercise more caution in the future."
Their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a knock at the door. Irwin gestured to Morgan. "Get Stella on the phone, and inform Magnus he can resume his duties," he instructed before turning to address the knock.
The door swung open, revealing Grace, her eyes modestly fixed on the floor. "Good evening, Mr. Kent. Mrs. Kent requests your presence for dinner."
"Dinner?" Irwin echoed, a note of surprise in his voice.
