"Bold of you, Irwin, to bring your wife to a dangerous meeting."
"You urged me to come. I already told her we were here for a vacation, so it'll seem like that."
"You're not scared of Gerald seeing her?"
"Charles? What about him?"
Mr Nolan sighed. "This way," he directed. Irwin turned to Morgan, signalling him to follow Eisley, who had gone to get a drink while Robert trailed behind them.
Soft music filled the space, and the dance floor grew crowded. Eisley remained seated, unable to find a bartender.
She sighed, pulling out her phone to check a group message from Aurora and Robina.
**Robina:** Hey, girl! How is your vacation going?
**Aurora:** I wish I could be with you... I hate working.
Eisley chuckled, about to reply when a man sat beside her.
"Can I get you something?" he asked.
Eisley looked at him, confusion etching her features. She glanced around and noticed the bartender was nearby.
