Chapter 19 - WEDDING X THREATS

Walking through the aisle, Eisley's dress swept the floor. Her off-shoulder ball dress. And a monarch floor length. The sleeves were puffed and fell off her shoulders.

The style of her wedding was a vintage minimalist. Her silky sandy brown hair flowed down her back to her waist with curly waves. However, her veil flowed down to a floor length. She held in her hands fresh, seasonal flowers with a touch of purple and green. Eisley adorned her neck with a slim diamond necklace, which wasn't too obvious.

The wedding location was finally decided, and it was taking place in the garden of Irwin's mansion since it was really small

As she walked down, her beautiful meadow green sparkling eyes focused on the one man she was going to make hers for the rest of her life. She was getting married to him— Irwin Kent in front of Magnus. She was doing it— finalising a deal with a gangster.

"Here's the document, it's a two-year contract, after the two years, I'm sure Magnus wouldn't want anything to do with you, and you can slip away to anywhere you decide, but first of all. These are my terms. The wedding can only push forward if you accept these."

Irwin stood in a brown tuxedo, a white inner, a black bowtie, and a little flower pin. Irwin's hair was made in middle parting and smoothly carved hair at the back. He waited patiently for her.

Finally, her hands were in his, and as her hands held his, he smiled.

"These sacred vows are not just between Irwin Kent and Eisley Mercer but with the people gathered here to witness this beautiful ceremony. Will you please join us now for the vows?" The officiant stated.

"I, Irwin Kent, pledge my undying life to you, Eisley Mercer, as I invite you to share my life...

"The first rule of the contract. Party A(Eisley Mercer) can never fall in love with Party B(Irwin Kent). Second rule. Party A must listen to Party B at all times

"Strike that out, not at all times. I want a life I can't be listening to you at all times,"

"Party A must never get involved with Party B's personal life. Fourth rule. Party A must make sure to do the duties agreed upon at the very beginning. Party A and Party B can only act as couples outside. Party B must not touch Party A without her consent."

"We've already made love twice. Must that be included?"

"Cupcake, I don't make love," Eisley's eyes darted around.

"I don't care. And I don't see a reason to stay away now. Party B is allowed to touch Party A whenever he pleases." Eisley said while their gaze fixed on each other.

"What if I want to now," Irwin said. Eisley gulped hard, looking away in a long silence. "Party A must be with Party B on all occasions needed," Irwin said, his gaze never shifting from her.

"Can't we just—" Eisley's chest heaved. Tension swirled through her, making her breath increase. The way Irwin stared at her felt like he was calling for her soul. "Can't we just do whatever we want? Scrap the contract,"

"We can't. You can't fall in love,"

"I won't, I promise I won't," Eisley dropped the contract on the table, walking towards Irwin and crashing into his arms. Her lips parted to taste him.

"Eisley?" Irwin called, smiling against her lips, holding her tightly. Her hands were already undoing his buttons. "You're in my goddam's office. Robert could walk in,"

Her head arched backwards. "Can you, for Christ's sake, touch me? Please," Her eyes shut, and her body was arching to be touched by him. Where did it all go wrong? To be dying to be touched by Irwin? She hated sex with Magnus, and hated being touched, but everything became different from the very first day he touched her in her bedroom.

A hand tapped Eisley from behind, and she gasped slightly, turning around. Her cheeks were red as she stared at Irwin with a few of his business partners, but those red cheeks died down when her gaze met Constance Kent.

"I can see you made it to the wife title," Constance said.

Eisley's brows thinned. That very night played a reminder in her head. Eisley plastered a fake smile, swallowing.

"How much do you need? I can pay you to leave my son. This wedding could be null and void immediately," Eisley shook her head. As annoying as she was, she had a very smooth voice.

"What to do? I already got married. Why don't you just deal with the fact that I am his now, his to—" Her eyes danced in Constance's eyes. "His to love, care for, and his to—" she leaned in, whispering the last words. "Fuck," Eisley leaned backwards to get a reaction from her, and the sight of her frowning was breakfast to her soul, but the frowns didn't last.

"You think you're the first to say that?"

"Actually, no. I don't think I am the first, but I'm going to be the last," Eisley grinned, taking a sip from her drink.

"What's going to happen? I can tell your husband still wants you. It takes a little cash to motivate someone like him,"

"Ex-partner, and he didn't even make it to husband, know the facts," Eisley whispered, sucking in every atom of fear. "How about you try me? And your lovely son, you would never see again." Eisley took a step closer, "For every move you make, think about it, draws us closer, and your son becomes mine alone and that's thanks to you, he gets to fuck my brains out every morning, for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, and anywhere possible, isn't that so, Constance?" Eisley's side glanced at her.

"Eisley! Oh, my congratulations! You looked like an angel," Aurora and Robina waved, walking towards her.

Eisley smiled, waving towards them and walking out of Constance's presence.

"My goodness, you made it," Eisley hugged them. Constance stared furiously at her, and her eyes caught Irwin's staring at Eisley and then shifted to her. He looked at Eisley again and excused himself.

"Hey, cupcake," Irwin's hugged her from behind. "Let's leave, I hate it here,"

"Aurora, Robina. Irwin Kent. Irwin, my friends, Aurora and Robina,"
