Shyva had been led blindly from the prison with a sack over her head. The prisoners had wished her best of luck, but she didn't understand the shift in their demeanour. The sack was lifted from her head, and she was placed in a sandy pit with a crowd of spectators gathered above and around her, cheering at her presence. She had had a similar experience in the Dome, where her sisters surrounded her while she fought in a ring.
