"Well, you saw me, but I wasn't going to wait for you. I had to save myself. Refrain from acting surprised. You never help anyone, and I was certain you would run at the slightest chance."
"DO not say that!" Sula stamped her feet, gnashing her teeth to being humiliated. Budik pulled away from the spot that held the glowing orb. Beside her lay the bleeding figure of the monster, covered in its gelatinous yellow blood. "Do I lie? You think I didn't see it in your eyes. You care only about yourself."
