Before The Fall…
The destruction of buildings as they were knocked off from their foundations. Roads split in the middle, creating a gape deep into the earth's core. Vehicles collided into distorted shapes or exploded. Citizens were crushed by rubbles, splattered blood underneath the debris. The ever-sounding alarm livened the quiet roads, grating ears of leftover beings that cowered in their hideouts. The stench of blood intermingled with dust and fuel thickened the atmosphere. Sparks sprayed from exposed wires and poles fell over vehicles, creating a dent that could never be fixed. Cyborgs and robots malfunctioned, glitching and making metallic scraping sounds. The sky glitched black strips against the blueness and whiteness of the tinted background. Erasian was a lie, and we all lived it. How much I was convinced I had a purpose to change the world and the system. It was rotten, and I had to endure watching all that happened. I had nothing to lose.
