The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension after the previous incident, but Viscount Theron seemed unfazed. Wallace, however, was seething beneath his calm exterior. He knew he had to maintain control, but Theron's behavior was pushing him to his limits.
As they continued their discussion about the True Dungeon, another maid entered the room, her hands trembling slightly as she carried a fresh tray of tea and pastries. She tried to avoid Theron's gaze, but the Viscount's predatory eyes locked onto her immediately.
"Ah, another lovely flower," Theron drawled, his grin widening. "Come here, girl. Let's see if you're as delightful as the last one."
Wallace's patience snapped. "How dare you, you bastard!" he thundered, standing up so abruptly that his chair toppled over. "How dare you behave in such a vile manner in front of me, in my own home!"
