Damon stared at the person standing in front of him. Even calling him a person was pushing it. The man looked more like a humanoid dog.
Two fang-like teeth protruded from his lower jaws and his face looked like it had been stomped all over. He was almost as tall as Damon, but extremely fat.
He was wearing a coverall and a leather apron around his middle. His legs looked really short though. Basically he looked like a fusion between a pug and a human.
"Mister Bonesmith?" Damon asked carefully. Sol had described the man he was supposed to meet, but Damon had been skeptical. He had been wrong.
"Who are you?" The man suddenly started to sniff Damon. He felt a bit violated by this but wisely held his tongue.
"I have never smelled a bloodline like yours in Athos. Which clan's initiate are you, young man?"
"Initiate?" Damon asked, feeling bewildered. He had no idea what the man was talking about.
