Chapter 50 - Special Dungeon No 2.

Oscar looked at another red key, he just looked at he got this from doing his daily quest once again, as this time he is as Infront of an train station in that of Beacon, he looked at brhe Red key as he twisted a Blue Portal opened as he walked through the Portal as he went inside.

Oscar went inside of the Dungeon, he looked around as he saw something like cave, it resembles an Ant nest, but it was clear there was no ants, Oscar then actived [Shadow Vail] as he active his [Agility Skill] as well, as he started to ran and walk seeing everything around wondering what type of monster he will fin

He then stopped as he saw group of Monster, they were definitely Grimm, but standing on two legs they had that do head of Dragon and looked more a lizard, as they Black Scales glinted.

[Grimm Kobold detected]

Oscar's pulled out Midnight Fang and Crimson trigger. "So that is there name"

Oscar surveyed the dungeon around him, the eerie silence only broken by the faint scratching sounds that echoed in the cavernous space. The Grimm Kobolds in front of him, standing on their two legs with their dragon-like heads, made a chilling sight. Their black scales glinted under the dim, flickering light that filtered through the cavern walls. Each of them seemed to carry an air of ancient menace, their glowing red eyes scanning the surroundings as if searching for prey.

Oscar adjusted his stance, his hand gripping Midnight Fang tightly as he readied Crimson Trigger. He knew this would be a battle that required finesse. The Kobolds' abilities were unknown, and from their intimidating appearance, he figured they wouldn't be pushovers.

He activated his Agility Skill once again, feeling the familiar rush of energy course through his body, heightening his reflexes and sharpening his senses. His Shadow Vail flickered around him, making him blend more seamlessly into the environment. With that, he moved forward, his footsteps almost silent as he crept closer.

As he approached, one of the Grimm Kobolds seemed to catch a whiff of him, its head snapping in his direction. A deep growl rumbled from its throat, followed by a guttural roar. The others turned, their eyes locking onto Oscar.

He didn't waste a second. With a fluid motion, he dashed forward, his agility pushing him past the first line of sight. Midnight Fang flashed in the air as he slashed across the first Grimm Kobold's side, the blade cutting through the air with precision. It shrieked in pain, the sound echoing through the cavern.

The second Grimm Kobold lunged at him, its claws swiping in a wide arc. Oscar ducked, narrowly avoiding the strike, and with a quick sidestep, he launched a powerful kick into its side. The impact sent it reeling, and Oscar quickly followed up with a quick stab of Midnight Fang, piercing the creature's scales and drawing dark, viscous blood.

Another Kobold roared in fury, launching itself towards Oscar. However, Oscar was already ahead of the game. He moved with calculated precision, dodging the attack and striking with both Midnight Fang and Crimson Trigger simultaneously. The force of the blow sent the creature flying back, crashing into the cave wall with a sickening thud.

Oscar stood, momentarily surveying the battlefield as the Grimm Kobolds regrouped. His breath was steady, his aura fully engaged, and he could feel the Hunter title's effect taking hold of him, making him more confident in this battle.

As the remaining Kobolds circled him, Oscar grinned, knowing that the fight was far from over. With his enhanced skills and the power of his Gamer System, he was ready to tackle whatever else this dungeon had in store for him.

Oscar the heard a sounds he saw a pack then as they lunged at him, he rolled our the way as fired Crimson Trigger, the Shotgun hitting 5 of them and sending them back.

He then used his sword Midnight Fang to cut they head of, he rolled away as then used [Fire Ball] to burn down the and [Air Slash] to cut down in half, he saw the body desiperd, as he looked around.

Osacr just looked around. "There is probably more".

He jumped out the way, he saw another one coming as then use [Turn Undead] as the blast of holy light hit trh Grimm and destroyed it, he saw few more jumping him but then he uses [Shadow Arms] to grabb them, then he used [Freez Dry] to freeze them

Oscar looked at his system. "So special Dungeon do give me extra Exp, I wonder what the boss is in this one".

Oscar then remember the Cleric Beast. "I wonder if it going to be similar to him".

Oscar took a moment to catch his breath, surveying the aftermath of the battle. The remains of the Grimm Kobolds scattered across the floor, their bodies frozen in place thanks to Freeze Dry. He allowed himself a brief chuckle at the level-up notification. Level 41—it wasn't much, but it was progress. He'd been pushing himself through countless challenges, and this dungeon was no different. The special dungeons seemed to offer unique experiences, more rewarding than typical encounters.

He took a deep breath, the cold air filling his lungs. He knew there were likely more monsters ahead. His instincts told him that the true challenge of this dungeon was yet to come, and he was eager to face it. The thought of a boss kept nagging at the back of his mind. He recalled the Cleric Beast, the terrifying creature he'd faced in the past, and wondered if the upcoming boss would be anything like that.

Oscar stood up straighter, his body tense, ready for whatever was to come. He clenched his fists around his weapons, Midnight Fang in one hand, and Crimson Trigger in the other. He wasn't one to back down, and with his newfound strength from the dungeon's challenges, he felt more than capable of taking on whatever lay ahead.

The sound of scratching claws echoed through the cavern, and Oscar's sharp eyes darted toward the entrance of the next chamber. The air grew colder, and the light dimmed as if something massive was approaching. His heart pounded in his chest as he readied himself.

"Here it comes," he muttered, his voice barely more than a whisper.

Out of the shadows, a massive figure appeared, its towering silhouette filling the entrance of the next room. It was unlike anything he had faced before—its body was a grotesque amalgamation of Grimm features, its eyes glowing like burning embers, and its scales shimmered with a sickly green hue. It was a monstrous version of the Grimm Kobolds, but far larger and more dangerous, its maw open in a horrific snarl.

Oscar's system pinged again.

[Special Dungeon Boss Detected: The Great Kobold Overlord]

Oscar's eyes narrowed. "So, this is the boss."

The Great Kobold Overlord let out a terrifying roar, its voice echoing through the dungeon as it charged toward Oscar with alarming speed. He immediately activated Shadow Vail, vanishing into the shadows as the beast barreled forward. He could feel the heat from its body, the stench of decay and malice hanging in the air.

Oscar's senses heightened. He quickly assessed the Overlord's movements and darted to the side, narrowly avoiding its crushing swipe. With lightning-fast reflexes, he swung Midnight Fang, landing a solid hit against the beast's thick scales. The blade barely left a scratch.

Ding!

[Your attack has been ineffective. Targeting weak spots recommended.]

"Of course," Oscar muttered. He quickly jumped backward to gain some distance and activated Agility Skill to stay nimble. The Overlord growled and charged again, this time swinging its massive claws at him.

Oscar rolled to the side just in time, feeling the wind of the swing whip past him. As he landed on his feet, he cast Fire Ball, sending a searing sphere of flame directly at the Overlord's face. The attack exploded on impact, but the Overlord didn't falter.

Ding!

[Skill Fire Ball is ineffective. Targeting specific weak spots required.]

"Great," Oscar muttered. "Let's see what this thing can really do."

The Kobold Overlord raised its head, then released a barrage of sharp, explosive spikes from its back. Oscar's eyes widened as he barely managed to avoid the incoming spikes, one grazing his side and causing a small but painful cut.

"Now it's serious," Oscar said, gritting his teeth. His eyes shone with determination. He had to take this monster down.

With a flick of his wrist, he summoned Shadow Arms, extending tendrils of shadow from his back to restrain the Overlord's massive claws. The creature roared in frustration as it attempted to break free, but Oscar had a plan. He activated Air Slash, summoning a gust of cutting wind that tore through the air and sliced through one of the Overlord's claws.

Ding!

[Air Slash successful. Damage dealt: 100]

Oscar smirked as the Overlord howled in pain. It was a small victory, but it was a step in the right direction. Now, he needed to keep up the pressure and figure out how to take down the beast's thick hide. He gathered his strength, preparing for his next move.

Oscar then looked at the Boss. "Let's see, This is really effective agents Grimm".

Oscar then blocked it's attacks as then he used another more powerful [Turn Undead], the beast was sent back, as then Oscar used Earth Pull, as the Boss was slammed or the ground, as then Earth Spike went to the Boss body, as then Oscar used Shadow Step cane behind the boss as he used [Turn Undead] as he did he saw the skill level

Oscar then slammed his foot on the skull of the boss, as the white armour broke as Oscar looked at the Boss, he cover his leg with [Turn Undead] as he slammed his leg down once again, his Strength stats was really broken and seeing how high it was

The Overlord grunted in pain, its massive frame shaking as Oscar's foot came down once more, covered in the holy light of Turn Undead. The energy exploded upon contact, and the Grimm beast let out a blood-curdling screech as its skull cracked under the force. Oscar's leg struck true, breaking through the white armor that had previously seemed impenetrable.

Oscar could feel the strength surge through his body as he applied more pressure, his stat boosts enhancing the power of his attacks. His Turn Undead was now amplified by his high Strength, making each blow resonate with the force of a battering ram. The Boss staggered, visibly weakened by the relentless barrage.

[Skill Leveled Up

Turn Undead Level: 13 → 14]

Oscar didn't pause to celebrate the level-up. He could feel the Overlord's aura faltering as it struggled to rise. His system pinged with a new update as the Overlord's health bar dipped dangerously low.

Ding!

[Boss Health: 15%]

"Almost there," Oscar muttered under his breath. He glanced at the beast, which was still trying to get back to its feet, roaring in fury. Oscar's eyes narrowed. He knew that the beast was about to unleash its most powerful attack, likely a desperate last-ditch effort to survive. He needed to end this quickly.

With a swift motion, Oscar activated Shadow Step, his form flickering and vanishing in the blink of an eye. He reappeared behind the Overlord, his sword, Midnight Fang, now glowing with a dark energy. The shadows that trailed behind him seemed to echo with the force of the upcoming strike.

Before the Overlord could react, Oscar launched himself forward, sword raised high. With a single, powerful slash, he pierced deep into the beast's side, aiming for its core. The blade cut through the scales with ease, leaving a trail of dark energy in its wake.

Ding!

[Critical Hit!]

Ding!

[Boss Health: 1%]

The Overlord staggered, letting out one final, pitiful roar as Oscar withdrew his sword. It collapsed to the ground with a mighty thud, its enormous body trembling before finally coming to a stop. For a moment, all was silent, the only sound being the steady breathing of the victorious Oscar.

Oscar stood over the fallen beast, sweat dripping down his forehead. He had done it. He had defeated the Great Kobold Overlord.

Ding!

[Boss Defeated!]

[Special Dungeon Completion Bonus:

+2 Levels]

[You have gained 1x Red Key]

Oscar wiped his brow, letting out a relieved sigh. The battle had been tough, but with the right skills and a bit of strategy, he had managed to overcome it. The special dungeon was no joke, but it had been a rewarding challenge.

He glanced around the dungeon's now-quiet cavern, taking a moment to absorb the feeling of triumph. The dungeon had been tough, but it had also been a significant test of his abilities. The Red Key was his prize, and the levels were a nice bonus. He couldn't help but wonder what other challenges awaited in this strange world, and what rewards they would bring.

His system pinged one last time, signaling the end of the dungeon's challenges.

Ding!

[Congratulations! You have completed Special Dungeon No. 2!]

Oscar looked at the notification and smiled. This was only the beginning.
