Then they heard something, something breaking.
Oscar looked at Penny. "Will sorry, gotta go".
As he activated [shadow travel] as he arrived to the place where the sound came, a he found Roman and his fake White Mask people stealing dust again.
Roman looked at him as he smirk. "Ah white mask, what a pleasure to meet you again".
Oscar just looked at him as he spoke. "This is 5th this week, how many time do I need to teach your this lesson".
Roman looked at and chuckled. "Oh what lesson".
As then Oscar kicked rh air as it broked like glass, as Neo moved out for the way. "Don't think I forgot about your little sidekick".
Roman just sighed as he spoken. "Your annoying"
Oscar smirked beneath his mask, standing confidently as shadows swirled faintly around him. "Annoying? Roman, I think you mean 'persistent.' Someone has to keep you in check, after all."
Roman twirled his cane lazily, his smug grin never faltering. "Oh, please. Do you think you're some kind of hero? You're just a nuisance with a fancy mask and parlor tricks."
Oscar didn't respond. Instead, he activated [Shadow Arms], several tendrils of shadow manifesting around him, writhing like living entities. They flickered ominously in the dim light of the warehouse. Roman's smug demeanor faltered slightly, his grip tightening on his weapon.
"Alright, boys," Roman called out to his fake White Mask lackeys, "time to earn your pay. Get him!"
The fake White Mask henchmen rushed forward, weapons drawn. Oscar didn't waste time. With a flick of his wrist, the shadow arms lashed out, disarming several of them in one swift motion. He dodged a swinging baton, countering with a precise kick that sent the attacker sprawling.
Neo darted forward, her umbrella spinning like a shield. She aimed a quick jab at Oscar, but he anticipated her move, sidestepping with fluid precision. He countered with a quick swipe of his blade, forcing her to backflip out of range.
"Still as fast as ever, Neo," Oscar muttered. "But you'll have to do better than that."
Roman used the distraction to aim his cane at Oscar. "Enough games." He fired a shot, the explosion echoing through the warehouse. Oscar reacted instantly, activating [Shadow Veil] to disappear into the darkness. The blast struck the wall behind him, leaving a scorch mark.
Roman looked around, his frustration growing. "Where'd he go?"
Oscar's voice echoed from the shadows. "You're predictable, Roman. Same tricks, same plan. You really need to get more creative."
Before Roman could respond, Oscar emerged from the shadows behind him, grabbing his cane and twisting it out of his grasp. Roman spun around, throwing a punch, but Oscar caught his fist with one of his [Shadow Arms], pinning him in place.
Neo lunged to help, but another shadow arm intercepted her, grabbing her umbrella and yanking it away. She glared at Oscar, but he simply shook his head. "Not this time, Neo."
Roman struggled against the shadow arm holding him. "Alright, fine! You win this round. But don't think this is over."
Oscar smirked, leaning in closer. "Oh, I know it's not. But next time, Roman, maybe try something original."
Ding!
[Warning: Someone on the same level has the host has appeared duck]
Oscar then moved out of the way, as then a been or a cut of red light went sns cut to a few things, as it freed both Neo and Roman, as they escaped with these Men.
Osacr saw who it was, it was a tall and slim young man with crimson red hair, his Faunus trait appears to be a pair of bull horns in his hair. His original outfit consists of black paints with black and red shoes, a red shirt under a black jacket with his symbol on the back and black gloves. Like almost all White Fang members, Adam wears a Grimm mask however his has red markings on it (though in his character short it was revealed that it did not originally have these markings).
[Insert Image of Adam here]
Adam looked at Oscar. "Looks like I missed a lot do target, but you are still here".
Oscar looked at Adam, as what he Chevked from his system, this guys was level 40. "Who are you".
Adms looked at he spoke. "It doesn't matter to a dead man, I am just hear to clean the make, I was planning on 3 but 1 will do just fine".
Oscar clenched his fists, his mind racing. Level 40… same as me. This won't be an easy fight. He tightened his grip on his weapon and prepared himself.
Adam unsheathed his weapon, Wilt and Blush, a crimson blade paired with a red sheath that doubled as a rifle. The red markings on his Grimm mask gleamed in the moonlight as he pointed the blade toward Oscar. "I'll give you one chance. Run, and maybe I'll forget you were here."
Oscar smirked, activating [Shadow Arms], the dark limbs forming around him in a defensive stance. "Running's not my style. Let's see if you're as scary as you look."
Adam's eyes narrowed beneath his mask. "Your funeral."
In a blur of motion, Adam charged forward, his blade slashing with deadly precision. Oscar barely dodged, using [Shadow Travel] to vanish into the darkness and reappear behind Adam. He lashed out with a shadow arm, but Adam spun around, deflecting it with ease.
"Shadow tricks? Cute," Adam sneered, his voice dripping with disdain.
Oscar frowned, realizing Adam's skill was no joke. Every movement of the bull faunus was calculated, his strikes leaving no openings. Oscar activated [Turn Undead], unleashing a burst of holy light in an attempt to stagger Adam.
The light hit, forcing Adam back a few steps, but he quickly recovered, his mask hiding any hint of pain. "Light-based attacks? Interesting… but it won't save you."
Adam's blade glowed red as he activated Moonslice, sending a powerful wave of energy slashing toward Oscar. He dove to the side, using a [Shadow Arm] to shield himself from the impact, but the force of the attack sent him skidding backward.
Oscar gritted his teeth, muttering under his breath. "Alright, no more holding back." He activated [Shadow Veil], blending into the darkness completely, making himself nearly invisible.
Adam looked around, his posture tense. "Hiding? That's pathetic."
Suddenly, a shadow arm lashed out from the darkness, aiming for Adam's leg. He jumped back just in time, but another arm followed, this time going for his weapon. Adam deflected it with a swift strike, but Oscar reappeared above him, delivering a kick to his shoulder that sent him stumbling.
"Gotcha," Oscar said, a grin forming under his mask.
But Adam recovered quickly, his blade glowing brighter. "Not bad. Let's see how long you can keep up."
The two clashed again, their attacks creating a chaotic dance of light and shadows. Oscar's shadow arms attacked from multiple angles, while Adam's precise strikes cut through them like paper. The fight was evenly matched, but Oscar could feel the strain of keeping up with Adam's relentless assault.
Just as Oscar prepared another attack, Adam suddenly stopped, his ears twitching. "Looks like your luck just ran out," he said, stepping back.
Before Oscar could react, Penny's voice called out. "Stop right there!"
Oscar turned to see Penny approaching, her swords at the ready. Adam scoffed, sheathing his blade. "This isn't over, White Mask." With that, he disappeared into the shadows, leaving Oscar alone with Penny.
Penny looked at Oscar with wide eyes. "Are you alright? Who was that?"
Oscar sighed, brushing himself off. "Just another crazy with a sword. Thanks for showing up… again."
Penny tilted her head, her curiosity evident. "You're quite mysterious, White Mask. But I'll figure you out eventually."
Oscar chuckled nervously, his mind racing. I really need to find a way to keep her off my trail.
Penny looked at him as he spoke. "So can we talk now".
Osacr looked at as he started to [Shadow travel]. "In another day".
He made his way back to Beacon, and one again the highlights for the next day was non other then the white mask, as everyone was talking about him, the current headline says
"Does the white Mask have an archenemies".
As one picture show that did Roman, but another it very Blurry as no one can make it out, but was definitely Adam as the red blade was the only to be shown, Oscar won't say anything, as everyone knows he si Nuteral about Beacon hero.
The next day, Beacon was abuzz with chatter about the latest exploits of the White Mask. Students gathered in groups, discussing the news headlines, which had dominated every scroll and holographic display.
"Did you see the footage? That red blade... it looked so cool!" one student said excitedly.
"But who is that guy? Do you think he's stronger than the White Mask?" another chimed in, scrolling through the blurry picture of Adam's weapon.
Oscar, sitting at the edge of the cafeteria, kept his head down as he ate his meal. He made sure to look as uninterested as possible, though internally, he was debating his next move. Of course they'd focus on Adam. That guy makes me look like a Boy Scout.
Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang approached his table, joining him without hesitation. Ruby, as expected, had her scroll out, replaying the footage of the fight. "Oscar, you've gotta see this! The White Mask fought some red-blade guy last night. Everyone's saying they're rivals or something!"
Oscar chuckled, masking his nervousness. "Rivals? Isn't that a bit of a stretch? It was probably just some dust thief getting in his way."
Yang leaned forward, smirking. "You sound pretty neutral about this, Oscar. Not a fan of Beacon's new hero?"
He shrugged. "I think it's best not to rely on vigilantes too much. They come and go, but the real work gets done by Huntsmen and Huntresses."
Blake raised an eyebrow, studying him closely. "That's a very diplomatic answer."
Oscar scratched the back of his head, trying to act casual. "I just think it's better not to get caught up in the hype, that's all."
Weiss, meanwhile, crossed her arms, her tone skeptical. "The White Mask may be skilled, but he's reckless. He's no professional, that's for sure."
Ruby looked at Weiss with a pout. "Come on, Weiss! He's helping people! Isn't that what matters?"
Oscar took the opportunity to steer the conversation away from himself. "What about this red-blade guy? He seems dangerous. Do you think he's part of the White Fang?"
Blake's expression darkened at the mention of the White Fang, but she quickly masked her emotions. "It's possible. The red markings on his weapon... they remind me of someone."
Yang noticed Blake's shift in mood and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "If he is, we'll deal with him when the time comes. No need to worry about it now."
Oscar nodded, grateful for the change in focus. "Yeah, let's just hope the White Mask can handle himself. If he's smart, he'll keep his distance from someone like that."
As the group continued their conversation, Oscar mentally sighed in relief. I need to lay low for a while. Penny's already suspicious, and now everyone's talking about Adam. This is getting out of hand.
But deep down, he knew this was just the beginning. The world of Beacon, the White Mask, and Adam Taurus were all on a collision course—and Oscar was right in the middle of it.
