Maisie looked around and saw that there was no one around. She stopped in her tracks and, before the maid could react, she used a grappling move, to pin the maid to the ground, rendering her unable to move.
"Ah--" The servant exclaimed in surprise and asked anxiously, "Miss Duval, what are you doing? Let go of me, it hurts!"
Bethany, who was standing beside them, was also startled by the scene and hurriedly stepped forward to persuade, "Miss Maisie, what's wrong with you? Let her go..."
Maisie ignored Bethany's words and just stared at the maid with sharp and piercing eyes.
