Maisie stood in a wedding room with a few staff members, getting her ready for her wedding.
There was a makeup artist and a few designers.
Seeing the efforts being put into getting her ready for her wedding, Maisie concludes that her future husband is quite rich.
After getting dressed, she looked at her own reflection in the mirror and couldn't believe it.
She looked like a princess with her hair styled in a messy bun and her face meticulously beat.
She looked different after dressing up, but her skin and hollow bones gave her away.
Even though her outfit has been changed, the effect of being locked in jail for a few months hasn't gone away.
Seeing her reflection in the hugging mirror, Maisie got emotional, and her eyes became teary.
"Can I have a moment to myself?" Maisie asked, looking at the staff members.
"Of course, ma'am, it's all done; we will leave alone now." Saying this, the leading lady walked out with her colleagues.
Once they left the room, Maisie stood up and walked to the enormous winfrew in the bridal dressing room.
She touched her tummy with a tear streaming down her cheek.
"Baby, I have no idea what I'm getting into, but I bet this is better for us. With this, I can keep you safe and happy. No matter what happens to me, I won't let you be harmed.I'll make sure you're raised with a lot of love, I promise." Maisie said, promising the child in her stomach.
After this, Maisie gritted her teeth bitterly.
"Mommy, daddy, I hope you two are watching me right now. You must think I'm so inconsiderate that I didn't avenge your death. Instead, I'm getting married to a man I don't even know, hoping to save my life, right? I'm such a worthless child; don't forgive me at all."
Maisie's eyes were filled with tears, and her heart was steering with unimaginable pain.
Maisie looked around the room and went over to the mirror.
She traced her fingertip over the skin of her face. The prisoners really dealt with her, beat her up, and almost ruined the beautiful face she has.
"Olivia Gibson, Ethan Noble, I will not forgive you two in this life. Even if I try, I will make you two pay!"
****
Three hours later, the wedding ceremony was held.
She walked down the aisle and was shocked by the sight of it. It was exactly the way she wanted and the kind of decisions she wanted for her wedding.
She didn't get it with the other husband.
Even though she wanted to stop herself from enjoying the scenery, she couldn't help but notice how beautiful the place was.
Whoever did the decoration definitely knew her taste.
She was grateful. At least someone cared enough to look her up.
At the end of the aisle was a man, tall with gel-black hair and a brown complexion.
In the end, she saw the aloof, distinguished, distinguished and mysterious man getting to her. She wondered why he chose to help her and where they had met before. In the end, she couldn't remember where she knew him.
With the veil over her head, she couldn't see the face of her groom, but in her heart, she was grateful to this man for getting her out of that hell hole.
She didn't care if he had ulterior motives; he saved her.
Under the guidance of the priest, the two got married and were asked to kiss the bride.
"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
However, he looked at the woman from his peripheral view and noticed how uncomfortable she looked.
He leaned over and whispered. "You'll be safe with me."
Shocked by his declaration, she was confused, but the man didn't give clarity. and simply asked the assistant to get people to send her home.
Immediately, two servants came forward and helped Maisie away from the wedding venue.
She didn't even get to see the face of the man she married, but she wasn't worried about his looks.
His looks don't matter to her; his heart does.
At this time, Jake Dwight walked up to Zachary Stunder, who had an aloof air around him. His face was comforted by an ubgly friend after his new wife was escorted away.
"Second young master, old master Noble wants you back home to have dinner with him at the old manor. What should I say?"
He lowered his head, afraid of offending Zachary, who seemed to be in a bad mood.
Zachary was worried about the old man's health. So he could only do everything to keep him upbeat.
"Thats alright. Arrange for gifts for everyone at the old manor immediately. Make the gifts for old master Noble the most valuable." Saying this, Zachary Stunder glanced at his wristwatch. "Prepare for a trip to the old manor."
After getting the instructions, Jake was about to leave when Zachary asked. "Have you found the culprits behind the attack on me? Who dares to set me up like that!?"
Zachary asked, his eyes glowing with hatred. He clenched his fists bitterly.
Jake Dwight quickly reacted to everything he found from the investigation. "During the investigation, it was found that Henry Noble and his son plotted to have you dethroned and prove to everyone that you were not capable of looking after the company."
"They planned an invasion of your privacy with the help of someone and tried to show that you were not worthy. They were afraid you would take them if you survived, and that's why you were locked in that room, hoping you would pass away on your own and no one would trace it back to them. Luckily, that woman strayed into your room that night and..."
Jake didn't want to continue seeing the cold expression on Zachary's face.
He was afraid Zachary was on the verge of losing his mind after hearing this news.
"Who was the traitor?" Zachary's cold voice rang out.
"It was Robert Halfway," Jake stutters. "He was in cohorts with them and got them to locate you as long as you arrived in the country."
Robert Halfway is his driver. He took pity on him and gave him the job, only to get utterly betrayed like that.
Zachary was livid.
"What should I do, young master, Zachary? Should I get someone to teach him a lesson?"
Zachary turned to Jake with iciness and said,"I'll accompany my wife tonight; let's handle everything else tomorrow." Then he stormed off.
Jake Dwight was rooted to his spot hearing this.
"Wife? Young Master Zachary claimed that woman to be his wife."
Unbelievable!
