"Ethan? He must be here somewhere." Matilda turned to Susan and replied.
"Well, he's always missing from family gatherings. What is he up to these days?" Zachary asked, causing Susan to flinch.
"Dear brother-in-law, you are definitely mistaken. Ethan is always in the right place at the right time; you might have just missed him. I will get him to come talk to you later." Susan was nervous, but she feigned a smile and said.
"Oh, is that right? He must be quite busy looking after the company. Henry, you did a great job teaching him." Zachary's voice is laced with mockery.
"Of course, he has a lot of responsibility later on in life. After all, he's the only heir that our noble family has," Henry utterly, deliberately making reference to Zachary's personal life. "I mean, who knows if you might decide to give us the good news sometime soon? I can never tell."
