His full body was chained from his hands to his feet he was unable to move freely. He struggled for air in the suffocating darkness of the abandoned factory. Desperation clawed at him as he prayed for his life, willing to embrace death itself if only to escape the looming terror that awaited. The door got flung open light flashed before his eyes causing him to close his eyes shut. There he was, he appeared. Paralyzed with fear, every fiber of his being trembled as the figure drew near, reducing him to a trembling heap on the cold, unforgiving floor. The last ounce of his strength, he twisted his body, using his bound hands to shield his legs, a feeble attempt to hide himself. He pleaded with his hooded fearful eyes. He begged for mercy, deep down he knew that his fate had been sealed by this merciless being before him. Yet, in his desperation, he mustered the courage to cry out, clinging to a thread of hope even as the darkness threatened to consume him entirely.
"Lea…ve me pl…ple..please, I re..ally don't know where is.. he."
Damien's expression remained monotonous, devoid of any words as he observed the man before him. Seeing the man prostrate himself, pleading for mercy, Damien still remained unmoved.
"It's been two days, and he's yet to break his oath not to tell anything," Austin informed Damien, prompting him to roll up his sleeves in utter calmness.
"I think it's high time, we bring his family into this. That might shake him up a bit."
At the mention of involving his family, the chained man's demeanor shifted from calm to frantic, his screams echoing through the room.
"Don't you dare touch my family, you bastards! I'll—" His threat was cut short by a loud scream as Damien observed the change in his voice.
Damien chuckled hoarsely before forcefully kicking the man's abdomen, causing a pained groan. After a few moments of silence, Crouching down before him, Damien took a moment to study his captive before proceeding.
"Hmmm... Family! "
He hummed in satisfaction. Clutching tightly his hair he yanked him to look towards him. He smirked in satisfaction seeing that deadly fear in his eyes.
"Help me, God!" The man whispered a desperate prayer, clutching his cross chain tightly, only to be met with Damien's mocking laughter. Damien's hand landed on his cheek with a slow, deliberate pat, sending shivers of terror down the man's spine.
"Relax, Grover. Your God sent me to you," Damien taunted, his tone laced with amusement. The man's cry of fear, only to tighten Damien's grip on him.
"What's the matter? Don't appreciate the gift your God has bestowed upon you?" Damien yanked on the man's hair, snatching the cross chain from his neck causing him to wrench in pain.
"You know, with your family, I won't be doing much. I could pay a visit to your dear family, and have a little chat" he said with a smirk.
The man gritted his teeth not ready to hear anything for his family. knowing that at any moment he could burn them into ashes without leaving any trace. He forcefully tried to push him in his attempt Damien slapped him across his face, causing Grover to cough up a torrent of blood.
"You are at my mercy Grover, watch your tone before I cut that tongue of yours."
He slapped once again then a couple of times as Grover lost his last amount of strength. Damien stood up on his feet ordering Austin to invade his house to cause chaos with his family member. That made Grover finally open his mouth. Damien was about leave when....
",He was in Ru...s..sia 2 months ago" the man stuttered, sweat beading on his forehead.
"I met him personally he was roa..ming around all over the world that time. No one knows his actual whe..re..abouts. He was there for a drug deal, promising me a share of 50% of that deal, in return for shelter. But he disappeared that bastard, leaving me with a loss of 40 million. I was also searching for him like a lost dog that's how I reached that bar in Russia where we talked about the deal you got the wrong idea I had no connection with him either before that incident or after that incident. That's all, I know nothing about him anything more. Please leave me. I have said what you wanted to know."
"Where was his last location, before he came to Russia?"
Austin asked him, making Damien to release his hold on Grover, stepping back with a stoic expression. He observed Grover, he rolled down his sleeves, maintaining his composure. One of his men came and handed him a tissue he cleaned himself neatly. His calm self was too dangerous. Grover knew better than anyone to overlook the danger lurking behind Damien's calm facade, uncertain of what ruthless action he might take next..
"Miami"
"Now please le…a..ve me I have did nothi..ing wro…"
The bullet pierced through his heart making his body to turned lifeless in a second. Damien pulled the trigger even before he could complete his sentence. Sighing in satisfaction. He again crouched down placing his two fingers on his nose, confirming his death. He sighed showing fake remorse and placed his chain on his face.
"I let your God decide whether he will grant you heaven or hell"
"Make a clean statement of his death, do not want any chaos before May 13."
He ordered Austin making him nod at his command. With that, he left, leaving that dead body rotten. Austin signaled everyone to take that body out of the factory. Unbothered by any doing of Damien.
For him, he is known to this Damien Adler, even the fear fears of him. He embraces darkness, his heart a lifeless shell. His name invokes fear, his hands thirsting for blood. Wrath consumes him, corruption fills his lungs. He is cruelty personified, ruled vengeance like a weapon. Death fears to claim his soul as he simulates his fate each day. He believes rebellion knows no bounds, embracing forbidden acts for his cause. With a rebel heart and untamed soul, he defies both heaven and hell.
He was puffing a cigarette leaning on his car. Austin joined him after
"Grover had a family?"
"He had a wife and a 5-year-old child, he carefully hid them away from this world's face."
Damien tossed the half-smoked cigarette aside before crushing it down under his foot. After a moment of silence,
"Should I go for Miami?"
Austin broke his trance. Damien looked at him, he sighed and opened his car door, and settled himself inside. Austin didn't try to get an answer for his alteration just stood there quietly.
"His life was in hand of death; now think you want to go for Miami or not."
He said and started his engine and left from there. Austin stood there realizing what he said and decided not to jump in any action right now. He was aware of his death, he knew it was Damien Adler. He had already buried up his hope for living the moment he was being hostage, it is clear that he had no reason to tell us the true information about him. He picked up his phone and dialed a number.
"Go through all the drug dealers and find out to whom he had been dealing with in the past 2 months."

"So are you saying you are kinda addicted to your professor? Professor kink I see"
Enola strolled along the familiar path, the evening breeze playing with her hair as she made her way to the post box to collect her parcel. As she walked, she chatted happily with her soul sister whom she called her best friend, Amelia Dutch. She lives in Miami and for some reason her family shifted here when she was 12 till then they are besties. But again for her father's shifting they had to go back and settle in Miami. She often comes to visit Russia to meet Enola. This time she had planned doing this same and that's why they were talking about planning what they are going to do together. Enola was so happy finally something best would be happening in her boring life.
"Shhh, he is not a professor by the way, He is just a trustee Amy, A guest you could say. However not so clear with his profession anyway."
She was sharing every detail when she suddenly mentioned him as he was now the full-pay owner of her mind. He was possessing her mind 24/7 nonstop and she was not complaining. However, she was still unaware of why she was feeling all the tingly feelings for him and what he had done to her mind to make her this insane for him that too in a very short period of time.
"Well whatever, you liked him isn't it, don't worry I am coming and the knot of your affection to your stranger I will be the one to tie."
"It's not like that Amy, don't get hyperbolic over such a silly thing."
Amy rolled her eyes and smiled for recalling something. Enola noticed her mischief smile and asked.
"What is happening with you… why are you smiling" Amelia tittered hearing her she was about to told her what was the reason behind her smiling. When suddenly Enola stopped on her track, a strange sound at the back of her neck grabbed her attention. She dropped her phone, with a nervous gulp she quickly glanced around. Silence, there was no one in sight, was someone following her?
But then Enola shook her head, scolded herself for being paranoid, and resumed her walk home. As she was about to relax, she heard a faint voice calling her name from behind. Enola froze, her pulse pounding in her ears. Turning slowly, she saw a figure emerging from the shadows, their features obscured by the dim light. Fear prickled at her skin as she braced herself for whatever came next.
