Last night, when Aiwass awoke in his dream,
he saw Isabel, dressed in a white silk short skirt, quietly lying on his shoulder, looking up at him with a pitiful expression like a small dog.
"...What's wrong, feeling aggrieved?"
Aiwass felt a pang of pity and gently cradled her face in his hands as he softly inquired.
"I waited for you all night yesterday."
Isabel spoke softly, "Is it because... you were so busy you didn't sleep at all?"
The moment he heard this, the conversation between Pure White and Master Yanis flashed through Aiwass's mind.
Although he didn't know what kind of torture Yanis endured that morning... at their first meeting, Aiwass felt Yanis was almost forced to kneel by the sheer force of gravity. But seeing that Pure White was unperturbed and Yanis could still send a message to Lily, at least the master should still be alive.
However, compared to Pure White, Isabel's aggressiveness and pressure were evidently much weaker.
