The Skinless Ones themselves were already an exceptionally terrifying advanced profession, and on a Giant, they became even more fearsome.
They possessed a formidable magic resistance; spells below the Fourth Energy Level basically had no effect on them whatsoever. As for spells between the Fourth and Fifth Energy Levels, they found it difficult to catch up to the Giants' speed, and even if they hit, they were unlikely to inflict any significant damage. Moreover, the Skinless Ones boasted the top life force of all professions and had a horrifyingly fast self-healing ability.
As a price for acquiring such spell resistance, Skinless Ones could not cast spells, take potions, use martial arts, or wear any armor or wield weapons.
But for Giants, such a price hardly mattered.
