Isabel's eyelashes fluttered slightly.
She let out a light hum, slowly waking from the slight rocking motion.
…What just happened?
Her last memory still lingered in her conversation with Aiwass.
Then she vaguely felt the whole world shaking and wrinkling. It was as though an earthquake shattered everything suddenly, or as if a fragile, paper-thin box was washed away by a flood. In her blurry consciousness, she heard the terrifying howl of a hurricane as though she was on a battlefield, listening to the earth-shattering roars.
She shuddered, overwhelmed by tremendous fear. It was as if the house she lived in was about to be destroyed by a tornado, and the sense of crisis almost woke her; but then she heard a sigh.
A voice as dry and hoarse as sand grinding in a throat said, "Go back to sleep."
So she fell back into a deep slumber.
Upon waking again, those remnants felt like a dream, ethereal and elusive.
…But she was already in a dream.
Do people in dreams still dream?
