The day after the Candle Master's festival was the official funeral of Queen Sofia.
At seven minutes past seven in the morning, the Cathedral of Candle Master in the Red Queen District once again tolled its somber death knell.
After seventy-nine strokes of the death knell, no bell would ring throughout Avalon for the rest of the day. A pitch-black silence enveloped the whole of Avalon.
The funeral procession set out from St. Genvieve Chapel, would circle the Red-White Queen District, and then return to the Cathedral of Candle Master.
Seventy-seven pure white Gryphons, each with a black scarf, and seventy-seven knights in silver armor cloaked in black, escorted the pitch-black coffin in the middle. Leading the front was Isabel, riding a Gryphon as a minister, followed closely by Ligeia and Aiwass, both on slightly smaller Gryphons.
