"Don't cry, it's all my fault. If I had realized earlier that I liked you, I wouldn't have let you…" His large hand wiped away Jiaojiao's tears as he spoke in a choked voice.
"Do you really mean that? Will you be good to me for a lifetime?" She looked at the man before her through tear-filled eyes.
"Yes, I will always be good to you, for a lifetime, through thick and thin," Feng Xi said solemnly to Jiaojiao.
"Okay, I promise you," Jiaojiao replied shyly, her head bowed, too embarrassed to look at Feng Xi.
Ha ha ha, Feng Xi laughed heartily, hugging Jiaojiao and starting to spin around. After a few turns, Jiaojiao couldn't take it and yelled stop, "I can't, I'm so dizzy." She looked at Feng Xi, slowly getting her bearings back, and her small hands began to pound on Feng Xi's sturdy chest.
Feng Xi grabbed Jiaojiao's small hands, grinning widely, "Be careful, it hurts."
