After carefully picking up the box and observing it, Li Ang noticed that there were almost no seams visible on the entire box, except for a small hole that seemed to be where a key should be inserted.
Just as Li Ang was about to try forcing it open, the leading Arab beside him pulled out a bronze key from his pocket, which was made of the same material as the box, and handed it to Li Ang.
"If you open it with the key, the energy inside won't leak out."
Only then did everyone recall that the Arabs had been looking in this direction all along; it turned out they had come prepared, key in hand.
Li Ang didn't bother with pleasantries and just used the key to open the box.
What caught his eye was a deep blue crystal stone inside the box, about the size of a hot dog.
Ironically, this object seemed to be worth even less than the pearl they had initially fought over; taking it outside to sell might not even fetch as much as a gold necklace.
