The gang leader, upon hearing Cadillac Xman say this, curiously asked.
He quickly shook his head, replying,
"No, no, I'm just particularly curious because I've been paying attention to the second-hand car business recently."
Cadillac Xman told a little lie.
He realized only after asking that this matter was not supposed to be known by everyone.
Firstly, both of these groups were not to be trifled with, or rather, there was no need to provoke them.
If the Chinese-American young man who bought his arms was the main character in this incident, and if the matter spread among them, then later, if the Americans came for retaliation and started investigating, it was inevitable that due to this information, the investigation could lead back to them. At that point, should he speak up or not?
Remaining silent would offend the Americans, while speaking up would anger the Chinese-American young man. Given the choice between the two, it was better not to get involved in the matter at all.
