The interior of the back building was no longer spacious and quiet. After nightfall, doctors at Li Shan Hospital began their shifts, and the altered patients moved back and forth between various wards, forming long queues at the medication dispensary and the billing department.
Everything resembled a real-life hospital, as long as you overlooked the various abnormalities sprouting from the patients. Some of them didn't even have human shapes, being merely clumps of flesh and blood with human faces.
"Don't disturb them." Dog saw the shadows entwined around the patients; they were all residents of the Shadow World. Now that the back building was completely under Shadow Coverage, they were just strolling in their own "home."
