Lucifer had no better plan, and since Jiang Lu was confident, he was willing to give it a try.
But he was still cautious and did not plan to go personally with Jiang Lu.
"How about this, given that we just made a scene at the meeting, it's hard to say who might be watching us. Let's send the Contract God, who wasn't seen at the meeting, and we can stay here. Once things are confirmed, we find the right time to visit. What do you think?"
"Makes sense." Jiang Lu nodded. "You always think things through."
"Oh, don't mention it, we complement each other, that's all."
With a laugh, Lucifer summoned the Contract God and handed over the task they discussed to him. Although Lucifer explained the reason vaguely, the Contract God caught on quickly, guessing most of it but wisely not prying about the unspoken parts.
