Emperor Yin originally turned Hell into an opposition faction against the alliance, so whatever they said was intended to undermine the unity of the alliance, like an exposed mole; even if they were reasonable and well-founded, it would be hard to convince people right off the bat.

Is what they're saying correct? Although it sounds reasonable, isn't there some ulterior motive behind it?
If Hell didn't plan to join the alliance from the beginning, then their initial intent must be malign, because if it's none of their business, why manage affairs? If you didn't knock the person down, why go help them up?
This logic is somewhat predatory, but regrettably, it is the norm.
What Emperor Yin never expected was that Lucifer could indeed provide reasons for not joining the alliance.
It wasn't for personal reasons, nor was it about playing both sides; the issue lay with Emperor Yin himself.
