Yeg ultimately didn't agree to Amberser's request, but he didn't outright refuse either, simply saying that he needed to go back and discuss the matter with the Grim Reaper Kranvo.
It seemed Amberser's idea was still too bold. Conservatively minded Yeg couldn't accept it on short notice.
It was a bit of a pity, Amberser's plan still required the Grim Reaper's aid to quickly take effect, otherwise, they would have to rely on the Magic Mirror to slowly ferment.
However, the problem wasn't big, after all, Kranvo and Hircine were enemies as well, and this Grim Reaper likely wished to eliminate his enemy before retirement.
The meeting wasn't completely fruitless—Yeg created a new Necromancy Codex on the spot for Amberser to use, proving that he hadn't been kicked out of the Elegy Poetry Society. After Yeg left, the Poet came over with a wine glass in hand and said to Amberser, "You still want to be a Grim Reaper? Want to know what Yeg's criteria really are?"
