Amberser looked at the glowing scroll in front of him, thinking it might be the most precious treasure in the world.
However, Amberser was not overly excited, but calmly asked, "Since you possess this scroll, why not resurrect Arthur directly? Any reward for me, a Lich, could suffice."
Lord of the Dawn countered with a question, "Resurrect which Arthur?"
Amberser was stunned for a moment before realizing that Arthur Laine himself and his Heroic Spirit theoretically are two separate entities.
"Justice cannot be measured in numbers. Arthur Laine who first saved the world deserves to be resurrected with this scroll, and so does his Heroic Spirit. I cannot judge which resurrection of Arthur is just, therefore my Deity Position does not allow me to make that choice."
These words from the Lord of the Dawn left Amberser speechless; it was the Deity's version of a moral quandary.
