"Don't let there be such a shift now," he thought. He had just secured a great position, waiting to count money until his bones grew. If the Lord of the Dawn engaged in another battle with the Dragon Gods, everything would indeed become chaotic, completely beyond control.
Amberser couldn't even pick a side to bet on now. He was naturally hostile towards the Lord of the Dawn, and as for the Dragon Pantheon... they hadn't forgotten what he had done overseas, and it was only due to Aeo's strict rules that the Dragon Gods hadn't crushed him yet.
Withered Rose was also startled by Amberser's speculation. If the Lord of the Dawn really made a move, could they possibly destroy Laine?
Both were worried, but Amberser responded slightly quicker, comforting Withered Rose by saying, "I think I might be overthinking it. Once the gamble ends, something significant is bound to happen, but the situation doesn't seem so serious right now."
