Aige seemed indifferent to the proposal, and instead said to Amberser, "It doesn't matter whether we negotiate with the Fury Tide Kingdom or not. You decide, that's not what I need."
"Hm? Captain Aige, you mean you have other requests? Just say it, I'll do my best to help you," said Amberser.
It was truly unexpected, and given that Aige had suffered losses, Amberser felt obligated to compensate. In business, both parties must benefit for sustained success; one party gaining an advantage was sure to lead to a breakdown in negotiations.
"Do you know why I am willing to help you find this Divine Artifact?" Aige asked.
Amberser shook his head, certain that it was not just for the sake of Withered Rose's face. Withered Rose wasn't particularly close to Captain Aige, and the favor wouldn't naturally extend this far.
Aige explained, "It's because the Society Leader told me you could help me solve a long-standing problem and figure out why my father cannot be resurrected."
