The deeper this image is embedded in people's hearts, the wider the coverage of Alchemy, and the stronger the God of Alchemy would become.
So it doesn't matter whether people believe or not; as long as they acknowledge Alchemy, that's enough. Therefore, Amberser never thought about forcing others to praise the God of Alchemy, as doing so would tarnish the reputation of Alchemy. Just like the mess Alchemy City had created, it could even damage the divine power of the God of Alchemy.
