"Could you introduce me to the village chief? I'd like to discuss something with him," Li Xianyun asked the elderly man.
"My grandpa is the village chief," the dirty little boy selling fruits crisply said.
Li Xianyun looked at the old grandpa in surprise.
The old grandpa said, "It's a shame to admit that I, as the village chief, haven't got the ability to provide a better life for the villagers. Not only do they struggle, but my own family barely makes it from one meal to the next, forcing us to set up a stall."
Just as Li Xianyun was about to speak, she heard a harsh commotion not far away. Looking in the distance, it seemed like someone was causing trouble at a fruit stand, with fruit scattered all over the ground.
The old grandpa sighed lightly, "Ah, they're bullying the honest folks again."
Li Xianyun turned to the old grandpa and asked, "What's happening here?"
