Little Fatty burst into laughter, followed by his two cronies, one of whom said, "Bo Lele's dad is as old as my grandpa, how could he be so shameless as to bring him along!"
"I bet he's not even his dad. Bo Lele probably doesn't have a dad, right? Hahaha..."
"He has no dad and no mom. Did he pop out from a stone?"
The children babbled on, ruthlessly mocking Bo Lele to the point that he tensed up, his little mouth pursed tightly, as tears moistened his eyes. Yet, he fought back the urge to let them fall.
His clenched hands at his sides were fidgety.
Once, when kids teased him for not having a mom or dad, he had angrily argued with them and even fought. He had claimed that he did have parents, just like every other kid.
But even when he won fights against those kids, his parents still didn't show up. He was alone, and the teasing only grew worse.
