"Quibbling?" Ning Xia's lips curled into a smile as she blinked her dark eyes. "The real quibbler isn't me but Editor Wu."
With the accusation turned back on Editor Wu, he leapt to his feet like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, and fiercely said, "Ning Xia, you beat me and intimidated me yesterday, and now you're going to falsely accuse me in front of all these people?"
"Editor Wu, I haven't said anything yet. Why so agitated? Are you feeling guilty?"
Ning Xia tilted her head and gave Editor Wu a lazy, sideways glance, making it impossible to fathom her thoughts.
Taken aback by the counterattack, Editor Wu stuttered, "Who… who's feeling guilty? I am… I just can't stand your arrogance!"
"So many people are watching here, and you show no remorse; you're even intensifying your behavior. Do you think your lies can deceive the whole world? Or do you believe that everyone here and the viewers in front of their televisions are fools?"
