The room outside wasn't as warm as the inside, and intermittent gusts of wind would bring surges of cold air.
Ning Xia shivered, curling up even more like a pitiable little kitten.
Just as she was feeling drowsy, the door behind her was suddenly pulled open. Caught off guard, she fell backwards until her back met a pair of legs.
Bo Siyan looked down at her from above, his face marked with slight anger, "If I didn't come out, were you planning to sleep here all night?"
Ning Xia rubbed her eyes with her little fists, looking up at him with a pleading gaze, "I really can't sleep alone."
Bo Siyan was unmoved, his reply cold, "You have two options. First, walk back by yourself. Second, I'll carry you back."
"..." Neither option was what she wanted!
But judging by Bo Siyan's stance, he clearly wouldn't allow her to negotiate!
Ning Xia bit her lower lip gently, hesitated for a moment, and then a resolute light flickered in her eyes.
