Ning Xia defiantly raised her eyes, her black pupils glaring broadly, fearlessly locking gaze with him. Her red lips parted slightly, enunciating every word, "I'm saying you are all glitter and no gold, pretty on the outside but rotten on the inside!"
No one had expected Ning Xia to dare talk back, and they all sharply inhaled.
But Ning Xia let out a big sigh of frustration, no longer pretending to be so meek and compliant.
She stood tall and proud, striding forward. As she passed by Bo Siyan, she unapologetically bumped into his shoulder, then went past him and plopped down on the sofa.
An array of fruits was laid out on the coffee table. She casually grabbed an apple and wiped it on her sleeve before taking a big bite, noisily chewing on it.
The people present were once again shocked by Ning Xia's unreserved behavior; although she had always been wild, she had never been this casual before. Were she courting death?
