Lian Xinying realized that Yan Ye had heard everything Ji Fan had just said when she heard a coughing sound coming from the other end of the phone.
Even though she had already broken up with Yan Ye, she still felt a sense of nervousness inside.
"I need to take a call first." Lian Xinying placed the bouquet on the table before quickly heading toward the balcony.
The cough from Yan Ye a moment ago wasn't intentional.
After getting out of bed, he realized he felt dizzy, likely because he had caught a cold.
"Yan Ye, do you have anything else to say? Ji Fan has come over, and I need to attend to him," Lian Xinying's tone sounded very calm.
"Who you entertain is none of my business," Yan Ye spoke quickly and then hung up the phone.
Lian Xinying's nose felt sour.
Why did she feel like he was a bit angry?
Though he hadn't shouted at her, his chill had seeped through the phone waves.
She put away her phone and walked back to the living room.
Lian Xinying glanced at Ji Fan.
