"You notify Yan Ye," Yan's father's throat seemed to be choked by something, making swallowing very uncomfortable, "let him come back to see his grandfather for the last time."
Lian Xinying nodded and took out her phone to call Yan Ye.
However, the voice on the other end of the call was the system's power-off notification.
"He's turned off his phone," Lian Xinying said hoarsely.
Her eyes were bloodshot from staying up all night, yet her complexion was pale.
It was then Yan's father remembered to ask, "Where did he go? Why did he ask you to come here?"
