Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 Don't Bully Me

The special assistant stood by, trembling in fear upon hearing the command he issued.

"To make a move against him is not wise." Although with Yan Ye's capabilities, he could attack someone and make it impossible for the victim to trace the mastermind behind it, one should never be too careful.

"What place is this?" Yan Ye put away his phone, his lips curling coldly, "The guest services department. That room must have other men in it."

"Oh, right. Boss, we have to call Xinying out now!" The special assistant worried that if the enforcers went in, they really wouldn't discriminate and might start throwing punches directly. If they accidentally hurt Lian Xinying, the boss would be distressed, wouldn't he?

"Xinying?" Yan Ye's eyebrows knitted together, his tone rising, his eyes filled with a deadly aura.

The special assistant was familiar with such a tense and suspenseful boss.

Normally, one could see him like this at the negotiation table.

With a murderous gaze and a few words, he could make one's heart unable to bear the pressure.

"Cough cough, I mean Miss Lian. It has been two minutes, perhaps it would be better if you called her out now?" The special assistant carefully corrected his own mistake.

Yan Ye looked down, his fingers tapping on the phone a few times before he walked into the elevator.

At the same time, Lian Xinying's phone buzzed.

As she took the phone out of her bag, Zhao Qitian was leaving.

The message was from Yan Ye, and it was bloodcurdlingly clear: Come to the parking lot immediately.

Lian Xinying stared at the message on the screen, her fingers trembling.

Even though it was from an unknown number, she guessed at first glance that it was from Yan Ye.

She could even imagine the malicious expression he had as he typed the message.

Lian Xinying did not have much time to think, and hurriedly walked towards the door.

"Uncle Li, I have an urgent matter, this is my number, can we meet another time?" Lian Xinying wrote down her number on a piece of paper and handed it to the middle-aged man across from her.

The middle-aged man's face changed color: "What urgent matter? Right after your Uncle Zhao left, you can't wait to leave too, why? You think I'm not as charming as your Uncle Zhao?" His words carried a strong creepy vibe.

Lian Xinying instinctively retreated towards the door.

"Xinying, what are you afraid of? We haven't even started talking! You're on summer holiday now, what urgent matter could you possibly have?" The middle-aged man reached out to grab Lian Xinying's slender wrist.

But the next second, he was shaken off.

"Uncle Li, I really must go, or else..." Lian Xinying's cheeks were as red as cherries, her eyes filled with clear tears, looking very anxious.

Only then did the middle-aged man let go.

After Lian Xinying entered the elevator, she immediately replied to the message: I'm coming down right now, don't bully me!

Until then, she thought the person he was referring to in the message was himself.

Yan Ye leaned against the car, a cigarette held lazily between his fingers, his posture effortlessly captivating.

The arrogant and icy aura he naturally exuded merged with the night, as if he was born for it, radiating a wild allure.

The message alert rang out, and he opened it with one hand.

Upon seeing the message she sent, his handsome brows furrowed.

Don't bully her? When did he say he was going to bully her? Or was it in the elevator that he gave her that impression?

Heh, she really was quite clever.

As soon as Lian Xinying arrived at the parking lot, she saw his tall figure.
