Lian Xinying got out of bed, drew back the curtains, and then headed for the door.
As she walked from the bedroom to the living room, before opening the door, she glanced through the peephole.
Outside stood a stranger.
This made Lian Xinying's heart suddenly flutter with panic.
"Who are you?" Lian Xinying didn't know why he kept knocking on the door.
"Miss Lian, I'm here to deliver a package. Mr. Yan sent me," the man outside stopped knocking as soon as he heard Lian Xinying's voice.
If she'd had her phone in hand, she definitely would have called to ask Yan Ye if this were true.
Lian Xinying was cautious and didn't open the door for him just yet.
"Oh, just leave the package at the door, you can go now."
Although she wasn't Yan Ye's girlfriend now and there was no one jealous of her to set her up, she still had to be on guard.
The man obediently set the item down and then turned to leave.
