Yan Ye brought Lian Xinying back home, and she was a bit out of sorts.
As he bent down to change shoes, she just stood there, looking silly.
Without a word, Yan Ye finished changing his shoes and pressed Xinying onto his shoulder, "Lie on me."
His words were like a command.
After the command was issued, she obediently lay on him.
Resting on his shoulder, one arm wrapped around his neck, she murmured, "It's almost midnight, and I'm not a bit sleepy."
The large clock in the living room reminded her of the current time.
"Even if you're not sleepy, you need to sleep. Maybe when you open your eyes tomorrow, the problem will be solved," Yan Ye said as he finished changing her shoes and carried her toward the house.
This made Lian Xinying feel so embarrassed.
"Put me down!"
"Why put you down?" Yan Ye didn't let go, instead carrying her upstairs.
